Calamoon and Mon de Pra join forces to promote body equality and inclusivity
Calamoon is a designer swimwear brand that offers beautiful pieces for women of any age or size. There has been a lot of buzz about the brand in recent years due to its innovative design of one-size swimwear that adapts to different body shapes and sizes.
This is the essence of the Calamoon brand, to accommodate all types of women. Mon de Pra is fully behind this philosophy and we also ensure that all women are catered for. We believe that everyone is valid and should be able to feel relaxed in the pool, without discrimination based on their body size or shape. It is precisely for this reason that we are highly creative with our pool models, ensuring the maximum adaptability and usability of our pools for people of all ages and abilities/disabilities.
For example, our Beach model is ideal for very young children; our Tweet model is perfect for kids or people with a disability as it has a spacious bench, a bathing area that’s not too large, and steps with a handrail-style lateral support; and our Clever model is great for older people as they can exercise and improve their circulation in a small pool that they can easily get into and out of from any part of the pool.
Mon de Pra promotes the reality of bodies and people and is the first pool brand to show normal, everyday people of all shapes and sizes enjoying its pools, thus normalising the inclusion of all body types. We don’t portray the stereotypical bodies often seen in advertising, as the rest of our sector does, but the reality of most people’s bodies. We’re committed to advertising that is respectful, transparent and empathises with our future customers, promoting everyone’s right to enjoy our pools regardless of their body shape or size.
Calamoon and Mon de Pra have come together to organise an exciting draw. The draw will be published on 7 August and will run until 3 September, when we will announce the winner of a gift voucher worth €90, which they can use in Calamoon’s online store.
